Bike or Walk to the Bosrand

On your bike it only takes 5 to 10 minutes from the ferry terminal to the Bosrand.

From the ferry turn right onto the Havenweg. There are a few houses and then a forest on your left and on your right you still see the Waddensea. After 250 yards turn left, a road into the forest. Follow this road for about ¾ of a mile. Do not turn right towards the campground Stortemelk! When you get to some summerhomes on your right, keep your eyes open for the busstop the Bosrand. Turn right and you are there.

A walk takes you to the Bosrand in 20 to 30 minutes .

From the ferry, you turn left into the town of Vlieland. After a ¼ of a mile turn right at the library. Cross the square and pass the church on the left, it is a small pedestrian walkway. Keep going straight onto the Badweg. This will take you through the forest. After ½ of a mile, just out of the forest, turn right. There are summerhomes on the left and forest on the right. Keep walking for 5 minutes until the busstop the Bosrand. Turn left and you are there.
